Use BirdSV with your own wallet

You can browse BirdSV without a wallet. To log a bird, react to a sighting, or send a Paid Like, connect a BRC-100 compatible wallet.

Use a BRC-100 wallet to sign your sightings

BirdSV works best with BSV Browser on iPhone or Android, or BSV Desktop on a computer. They provide the wallet BirdSV uses for identity, on-chain reactions, and tiny payments.

BSV Browser for mobile BSV Desktop

Both are published by the BSV Association. Keep your recovery information safe; BirdSV never receives your wallet keys.

1. Install

Use BSV Browser on iOS/Android or BSV Desktop on a computer.

2. Enable your wallet

Create or import your wallet and securely save the recovery information.

3. Open BirdSV

Visit BirdSV from the wallet-enabled browser and connect when prompted.

Why a wallet?

Your wallet signs BirdSV actions so the record can prove which identity created it. BirdSV uses that signature for sightings and community reactions; Paid Likes additionally send the displayed amount through your wallet. Your private keys stay with your wallet.
